Swift Current is a small city; more of a big town.
Swift Current is a small city; more of a big town. It is quick and easy to get around, with very little traffic. Courteous drivers by far, compared to Regina. It has all the amenities of a large city, as in several grocery stores, auto needs, major department store, a mall, plus, well, you name it. There is a river I have seen kids swim in over the Summer. An indoor and an outdoor pool. A few parks. One in particular has a splash park, newly renovated palyground, and is part of a large park complex which includes a tennis court. In the Summer there is a Fair. Lots to do and see, including a museum.

Great place to stop over when on a road trip. Many nice amenities and very courteous staff in locations you may stop to visit. The casino is a nice place to spend an evening which has a great restaurant.

It has a nice treed park by the river, with a large playground and splash park. There is an outdooor pool in a different location in town.
Lots of amenities.
It is a good place to stop. Hotels are easy to access. In my opinion, I would rather stop here than wait for Moose Jaw or Regina.

I've travelled through Swift Current many times over the last two decades, and stayed at a few places there; the usual suspects, I guess. We weren't familiar with this hotel, and were so pleased when we checked in, and everything went so smoothly. We were very comfortable, and felt secure here. We wished we had more time to stay here longer. We had to search for the Smitty's Restaurant that used to be just a couple of blocks away, but we did manage to find it, and our server remembered us from the last time we were there, which was very nice. The town is fairly easy to navigate, but many places we used to go are gone, sadly.

Well back to 2019 I have stayed in Swift Current because My car broke down in Morse, Saskatchewan, which was just 61 kilometers away with a towing Company that I found on the internet from the Esso Station in Morse, Saskatchewan.... I was upset cause I really wanted to arrive at my destination that day which was Calgary, Alberta at my daughter's Sabrinna place! That year I had to come back to Calgary to fight a speeding ticket while coming back from work to my daughters place!!!
That year I have stayed two nights in Swift Current, but only stayed in a hotel for one!!! or two??
Well this year in 2023, 4 years after that, I stopped twice cause I remembered that the people there were very friendly!!
This time my vehicle did not break down and I did not break down either!! Things got settled in Calgary that I was able to leave without hurting anyone including myself!!!
Thanks again for Rainbow Motel!! When I come back to Calgary I will make sure when using Booking.com that I make once again a reservation with this establishment!!
Reception was easy. The receptionist was awesome, extremely pleasant and helpful. The room was well furnished and the bathroom was clean and shiny. The breakfast area was large and well appointed in terms of tables, chairs, while the breakfast items, although standard fare, were quite sufficient for a good start to the day.
I have no hesitation in recommending this Day's Inn to anyone visiting Swift Current

Nice location - It was easy to find the hotel when Ibwas entering the city. And what's more, the location is very convenient cuz Walmart, Shoppers, a liquor store, pubs and restaurants are near.
It was easy to check in - It was simple and comfortable. I love prepayment.
The room was spacious and quiet. The staff were friendly and helpful. There was a door to the outside so I could take my dog in and out without going through the rest of the hotel. I could park right outside my door to make loading and unloading of luggage very easy. And my dog got some cookies.
Very clean and comfortable room with reasonable space. Very clean bathroom with nightlight which was a nice touch ( most of our hotel stays did not include this simple,yet highly appreciated feature ).
The continental breakfast was very good with a staff member present to assist through-out.
When we checked in he did not mention breakfast ended at 9-30. so of course did not get whatever they might have had.If they had bag to go like most hotels now,they could have extras,toaccommodate paying guests.Very poor set up.
one of the cheaper hotels in the area for the location and around many restaurants. stayed 2 nights and was okay just for a bed. Liked that had a bigger fridge, microwave and coffee maker.
While being close to all types of retail stores the Inn was exceptionally quiet. The water pressure in the shower is higher than any other hotel we have found, and it instantly refreshes.
Good sized room with a stove, full sized fridge, microwave and big screen tv. They even had bbqs for our use. The management was very helpful. Pet friendly without the surcharge.
The hotel was clean and adequate for our overnight stay. I appreciated the patio doors directly outside to talk our dog out. It was quiet, and we had a restful night.
I have stayed here a few times- and it has been clean- which is a must! The rooms are a bit more classy than some of the other Home Inn and Suites in Saskatchewan.
