the apartment was very comfortable. It was worth the money for us to stay here. My only suggestion to the renters of the property is that the bed needs to be upgraded. It was comfortable enough but for big people, like me, comfort is everything when I sleep. Other than that, It was great!!

The area didn't seem very safe.
The area didn't seem very safe. Everything seemed far but on further exploration, it isn't -- convenience-wise I would recommend Surrey if you're going to be in and around the area much. Safety-wise, I wouldn't say it's totally unsafe, I'd only recommend one to be careful initially, assess for your own self, and decide if staying out after sundown is a good idea or not.

Surrey is my hometown. I am a Canadian citizen. It just so happened I needed a place to stay at the time and I got robbed by these people who rented me the place for 45 days. 8925 151 street Surrey BC. They took the money the day I moved in and promised to refund the damage deposit as soon as I vacated the place ($1400 CDN ). But that never happened to this day(12th of July 2023)

White Rock is a must not busy suburban Surrey.
Eat at Crescent beach or "Morrisons" in Ocean Park to escape the main beach crowds.
The soccer fields are amazing there.
Lovely art and gift shop in White Rock centre.

The thing is , that owner or manager, she doesn’t have manners. As we booked the hotel via booking .com but at she said there was no booking and the rate she told us was way to high . And she is not accepting intrac or cards only cash . And when we asked for refund she said no refunds and cut the phone

It was affordable for where I waned to go.
It was affordable for where I waned to go. Easy to get to Vancouver and other destination most times. Wonderful accommodation that I would like to book in the future instead of nearer to Vancouver where it is very expensive. If you didn't have a car it might not be so good, There was parking on the street and I never had a problem with that, Closer parking in the driveway for electric cars to charge. Must admit I didn't spend a lot of time in Surrey but I was able to find all the places I wanted. Chong Qing restaurant and Krispy Kreme doughnuts for example. Lots of other malls for shopping also. I was mostly visiting friends in the area.
it was all so new and modern. the dominion restaurant was great after a long day. the pool was not in service but it was Feb so it didn’t affect our stay. the room was fantastic and check in was easy. parking underground was quite full in the stalls provided. I needed to park in the staff stalls but if a staff member wasn’t in the parkade to help me it would’ve been annoying as all stalls provided to hotel were full.
that was the only hiccup. otherwise a great stay and I’d book again.
The suite was large and the entire hotel has recently been refurbished. We had a full-size fridge and range. There was also a microwave. We asked for a bathmat and the owner went out of his way to find one for us. Very friendly, pleasant staff . The hotel is conveniently located to the SkyTrain into Vancouver--about a 10-15 minutewalk. Bus stops are very close. Also, within walking distance there are many places to eat.
False advertisement. It is nowhere close to the picture. It is a filthy residential house with strong odor of curry. It is a scam. Take this business down from booking.com. They charge more than listed. The property rents out hourly for sex as their side business. It is not legitimate as they claim to be listed as hotel. It is a fucking residential house in a sketchy neighborhood.
Breakfast was good, location was good. hotel was clean and despite being busy, it was a quiet room.
I like that there was an amazing swimming pool across the parking lot for the kids. It was lots of fun in the evening and nice and close to the hotel.
We didn't use the pub or Tim Horton's but it would be a good thing to have close by if it was needed (also in the parking lot)
Perfect stay. Safe, so Quiet and great friendly staff.
We paid through our online banking before arriving for booking final reception
We requested to be received after hour that was about 11. 30 pm for this stay and they guided us to interact to receive room code.
We are glad staying in different hotels rooms at this Palace and hopefully we get back next month.
Charming rooms
Very good area
Safety matters to us and hotel was secured by cameras
They are not 24 hours open
So he sure you arrive after 2 pm before midnight
Call them few hours ahead for more guidelines if you are coming later than specified time
David and sara were great staff
Manager the Empress was a super charming beautiful lady that night
Blessings
I guess I stayed about 100 hotels, motels, and many other places. Need not to say this was the most exceptional stay I've had. An immaculate and professional approach made our stay more classy and comfortable. No complaints at all. Highly recommend over and over again.
Great place, very well equipped, several towels, iron, heater, cutlery, washing machine, coffee maker, toaster, electric oven, fridge, tv with netflix, shower with shampoo and body wash, had the feeling of a 4 star hotel.
After days of hotel buffet breakfasts, it was wonderful to be able to order "a la carte" and have it served fresh at our table. Heated floors are appreciated during cool weather - I always enjoy having 'toasty' feet.
I was told upon arrival that I had booked a room that had no windows. I was offered an upgrade for a fee. I declined. Also, this hotel is actually a house that rents bedrooms out.
located on walking distance from sky train station and has good coffee shops and a restaurant in vicinity. its a neat and clean hotel in a peaceful neighbourhood. .
