Sundridge is a quaint sleepy town about halfway between the (larger) Huntsville and (much larger) North Bay. You have a great pizza joint plus a couple of decent restaurants. The Caswell Inn has cabins, small apartments, or rooms right on Bernard Lake, which is in view from everywhere. If you need a stopover or a couple days of real quiet (to read or catchup on your Netflix films), this is a nice pit stop. Unlike a bigger town (North Bay, Lindsay, Peterborough), it lacks the other stuff (cinemas or drive-ins, multiple sites of touristy interest) that could occupy you for several days. Bear in mind the population (1000)--not 40,000+ like the others.

Sundridge is a cute little town and the cabins were on the lake but the weather turned nasty for early September so we never got to use our boat at all. People are friendly. Not much to do when it rains and blows every day.
