The hosts Lois and Bill are very sweet and caring. The room was nicely appointed and the B&B is inviting with nice living areas. Lois cooks a mean breakfast with a focus on healthy options.

Stayner is a really small town, but it was very welcoming...
Stayner is a really small town, but it was very welcoming and had lots of places to do things. It’s not far from Wasaga Beach and Collingwood, just a short drive to either. We went to a small farmers market and saw a small car show. Good coffee and ice cream spots too! We went on a 2.5 hour hike and if you’re a border, you can get some shots.

A quiet small town, with some delightful restaurants.
A quiet small town, with some delightful restaurants.
It has all of the essential stores if you forgot to pack something. The Blue Mountains are close enough, so you get easy access, but don't want the crowds and busy streets of Collingwood

The town is just the right distance for visiting Collingwood...
The town is just the right distance for visiting Collingwood and Wasaga. Our stay at the Gables B&B was perfect in value and experience. We also stopped by an Italian restaurant, Fornetto, which was delicious with its homemade dishes. I would definitely recommend trying the grilled calamari. It will not disappoint.
Stayed overnight at the B & B with two girlfriends. The owners are friendly and welcoming. Lois is a fabulous host, available to answer any questions. The breakfast was fantastic and it was great having access to coffee, tea and even homemade biscotti and cookies at any time. Would definitely stay here again. Walking distance to downtown Stayner and less than a 15 minute drive to Creemore where we had dinner. There’s a gas station and convenience store very close to the B & B as well.
