Very nice, even during the winter months if you are okay with cooler temperatures, grey skies and rainy weather. The beach and town areas are clean. Various wildlife and sea life can be viewed with binoculars with lots of trails and points of interest being nearby or a short drive away. Qualicum area is nice to visit during the winter as the shoulder season is not busy with tourists.

This is a nice village that still has a small town feel.
This is a nice village that still has a small town feel. Lots of retirees. A nice local market that runs year round. Beautiful views out to the ocean. Great walking town, as the road is not steep up to the actual town from the beach.

We like QB very much!
We like QB very much! It is the perfect vacation place - small enough to be quaint, but big enough to have everything you want!
Nice places to eat, beautiful downtown, beach, trails, museum, and a golf course.

Stayed overnight only.
Stayed overnight only. Didn’t have time to explore and discover Qualicum Beach. Our stay at the Sand Pebbles Inn was great. Old hotel and outdated room with microwave, small fridge, big table and chairs, big tv, small renovated bathroom with great big shower, nicely folded and presented towels, nice shower toiletry, great big balcony. Fantastic views from our room. Would stay again.

Beautiful miles of beach, peaceful away from the main road that goes along the beach (cars, motorcycles, big trucks go by loudly 24/7). Small town easy to get around, quaint shops, nice cafes, good choice of restaurants (sushi esp). Very friendly people everywhere, all with a relaxed vibe. Not the place to party or for night-life but not a boring family/older vibe either. Grab a lounger, sit back, take a deep breath, smell the ocean and RELAX.

The rooms were very nice , but ..... we stayed on a sun and mon. Sun eve there were people there ,but after that. There was no one around. Couldn't get ice , or assistance.
Not what I was expecting for 300. Dollars a night.
Sorry. But could have an ice machine and a machine for snacks.
Thanks.
Beyond expectation. It looks like fairy tale house where generous and beautiful grand mom and dad live. With all the best the hosts prepared rooms, facilities and Canadian taste breakfast. Our colleagues are writing this great and lovely experiences, especially learning experience of Canadian pancake making on their facebooks. It was a real, authentic cultural learning from the lovely hosts. Thank you! and see you soon!
We liked everything about this property, it was very peaceful and quiet. The cabin was well equipped with Kitchen, patio deck with barbeque and a large bedroom with a comfortable king-size bed. The location was perfect for us as we were attending a wedding in the area. Judy, Peter and Lexi were very welcoming hosts.
We would stay here again and highly recommend staying at the Brisa Marina Qualicum Beach.
While vacationing in Victoria we travelled north to a quiet & private cottage with a lot of amenities (Ashling Cottage - 1875 Ashling Road, Qualicum Beach, V9K 2V1, Canada) which had a full kitchen with all the utensils, plates, glasses, cookware you need (we'd stocked up at a grocery store en route) we enjoyed our stay and visited the nearby woodsy Qualicum Falls; we'd love to stay for a week next time.
Nestled away in the quiet of a beautiful forest, I felt peace and relaxation like no other. Having spent the day with the busyness of a full day in Parksville, it was well worth getting away to this “Cottage “. A large one bedroom suite that is fully equipped and it’s like you’re on your own. I would definitely go back there and one recommended highly to anybody in the Parksville Qualicum Beach area.
The hotel had a beautiful view, most of the staff was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The beds were comfortable, most of the room had been recently renovated and modernized, and the bathroom had a great walk in shower. Linens were new, bath towels soft. The beach, promenade, and ocean views in the morning, day and night were breath taking.
Absolutely wonderful stay. We had the 4th floor balcony room with a beautiful ocean view. You could even see the ocean from inside our room. Every unit had a huge hanging begonia flower basket on their balcony.
We just walked across the street to get to the beach and had dinner in the restaurant/pub across from the hotel. We will be back next year.
We loved being right on the beach with great views from our room! The room is spacious and had everything we needed, nice thoughtful touches. The property is really nice, we especially enjoyed the beach loungers on the shared deck.
Location is very good, with several restaurants within walking distance. We would stay here again!
Excellent location and lovely views! We received a call before our stay to let us know the covid check in procedures. Super easy and quick. The staff will very friendly. Room was perfect for our stay. Enjoyed Qualicum Beach. A great place to stay. Highly recommend Casa Grande Inn and we hope to return next year.
This seemsLovely Hotel with aspect over the golf course to the sea. Rooms newly decorated. No breakfast available at all but we found good places in town which was a 20mins walk. Low staff levels was the reason given also for no room servicing but this seems to be a global issue since the pandemic.
From first stepping in to leaving too soon, this was by far the best hotel (of 11) we stayed at during our Canada trip. The room was huge, clean and comfortable with a great view. The restaurant had a lovely atmosphere and the food was amazing. If only we had booked to stay for longer.
Lovely up to date hotel, beautiful views, nice rooms, swimming is open until 10pm. Restaurant staff were very friendly. The gentleman that checked us in was very bubbly which started our holiday on a plus, also anything we needed guest services were very attentive. Thank you.
It was an all in one, clean and comfortable resort with pool, slide and crazy golf on site. The staff were there because they loved it and conversed with the guests.
The hotel is dated and just reopening for the summer months. The location of being on the beach is the best part. It was quiet enough and the bed was comfortable.
