Wasn't expecting the breakfast buffet to be open, but it was. Everything was individually wrapped, and seating was spaced for social distancing. Very pleasant surprise, since all the other hotels including breakfast do the "to-go" sack.

We visited Olde Towne Okotoks and liked the authenticity of the buildings. Had a meal at The George. English Pub style and had the Fish and Chips and for dessert the Sticky Toffee Pudding. OMG!!! Ladies, try it. Soooooooo good. Shared between 3 of us because you'll want to eat every bite of the Beer Battered Fish and Chips.
Visited The Saskatoon Farm and loved it there too. As we left on our road trip, we stopped at the Okotoks Erratic. Worth a look. I'm sure there's a lot more to experience, but we had more exploring to do on our road trip. Will return in the future I'm sure.

Very beautiful and wealthy town. Beautiful green spaces and the surrounding countryside is beautiful. Very close to Calgary if you enjoy a quieter destination. Highly recommend checking out the nearby Saskatoon Farm if you enjoy nature, scenery, amazing homemade food, and super friendly staff.
We knew going in that the Royal Duke was an older hotel but we loved the location. We were not disappointed in any way. From the excellent check in to the special touches in our renovated room it was lovely: chocolates, bottled waters and a bouquet of flowers set on the bed and the fancy folding of the washcloths to hold toiletries, a special extra not unnoticed! Restaurant experience was equally pleasing! Thank you very much!
This was a nice quiet, quaint hotel. the room was comfortable. The staff and management was very friendly and helpful wit any of our questions. the pub and eatery that is on site was excellent, meals were great and reasonably priced. If you like quiet and friendly staff this is a good place to stay. There is lots of small shops and eateries within walking distance in the area.
I thought we were booking into a hotel, but we're pleasantly surprised with the Ridge. We were the only people there for 3 nights. Our hostess Gloria was a total gem. She had our breakfasts done on our schedule. She totally looked after our needs. She is a keeper. Merry Christmas to all at the Ridge
Breakfast was really good and lots of variety. Very friendly and helpful staff. Location was right on and most convenient. I would recommend this hotel to my friends and family. We are pleased with the price we paid. Loved the Rogu tv so we could chose what to watch
It was a 10 for us in every way! Rooms were very nice, stocked coffee bar, lots of towels and the beds and bedding were so comfortable! Staff was very friendly and and polite, will always stay at this hotel when I come to Okotoks!
The hotel meets the basics to spend a quiet night and be able to rest. We had no expectations with breakfast, but it was the best, several options, tasty. The location is very good too. A lot of parking space
easy access, parking in relation to room (with motorcycles), clean, modern, comfortable, big tv’s… and best included hotel breakfast I have seen in a long time…..and they had cookies in the evening

We had the waterside to ourselves in the morning. The hotel allowed our 2 grandchildren who lived in Okotoks to use the pool.
