This is the second year in a row my family and I have come together from Alberta and Saskatchewan to meet at Cobblestone in Maple Creek. You have treated us all like your family and we can’t wait to do it again next year.

Its a nice little town for locals not really somewhere for tourist...i dont know about winter but in summer there was not much to do or see. But it is quiet and peaceful. I dont think I would come back again to visit.

I always love going to Maple Creek.
I always love going to Maple Creek. Love the old west character of the town. The people are friendly and the museum displays the history of the ranching community and area. It is a very interesting place to visit. It is also in close proximity to the Cypress Hills, which is a beautiful place to visit as well.
The host went above and beyond, providing fresh baked muffins and bread. The fridge and freezer were stocked with condiments, beverages, breakfast foods, etc. The kitchen was fully stocked with coffee, tea, spices and everything you would need to make meals. The bedroom was charming and had the most luxurious sheets. Sundog Manor is right in the heart of the historic district of Maple Creek. An easy walk to shopping, coffee, restaurants and museums. It was ideal for my vacation.
It was off the beaten track, and honestly wasent sure about the quality of the hotel being that it was in the middle of no where, but the hotel, staff, and ESPECIALLY the rooms exceeded our expectations....it was a really nice hotel. Thank you so much! I would recommend it 100%....we were going to stay in Medicine Hat but decided to go a bit further to Maple Creek and we are happy we did. We will be stopping in Maple Creek on the way back through to check out the town.
I couldn’t believe there was a 5⭐️ hotel in such a modest town! Everything was spotless: rooms, lobby, breakfast area, elevator, parking lot. The bed offered good support while feeling like you were sleeping on a cloud. The continental breakfast beat anything I’ve seen. The staff was uniformly professional yet friendly. I noticed that each guest was treated just as well as I was.
We stayed here the first time on the way back from a trip West and found it excellent as a stop on the way.
This is our second time here and it is as excellent as the first. The attention to detail and comfort is superior.
Using it as a base to explore southern Saskatchewan would be excellent. For us as a stop-over it is ideal.
Very cozy apartment, bigger than I expected and so many things are stocked in the apartment you feel like you are at home! (even yummy home baking!) Aside from the trains which are just part of Maple Creek this is a very quiet apartment with very comfy beds and a nice little deck if you are a smoker or stargazer.
It was incredibly hot so we asked to check in early. Our room wasn't quite ready so we say in the lobby and drank lemon water. Our room was large and very clean. The property is very well maintained. We were surprised to learn it was 8 years old. Maple Creek itself is a "hidden gem".
Breakfast was average to good - standard fair of toast, muffins, pancakes, cereal, yogurt, etc. Decent but not a lot of variety and only fresh fruit available was apples and oranges. Hotel just coming out of Covid restrictions, so perhaps this may change in the future?
The hotel was very beautiful and clean. Room was very large and the beds were extremely comfortable. Shower was great once I figured out how to use it. Continental breakfast was okay.
The rooms were big and clean. The staff were very friendly. Continental breakfast was good...lot of selections. It is the nicest place to stay in Maple Creek SK.
