Remote location, big property, wonderful views, dark skies. Everything you need for a relaxing retreat.
I stayed there at the end of September 2023. The chalet was absolutely spotless when I walked in. There was a big stove, a microwave, drip coffee machine, toaster, induction hot plate and an electric kettle. Pots and pans, dishes and utensils, glasses and cups. A working fridge too. The kitchen/dining room was a decent size but all the chalets have outdoors tables too along with a BBQ. The weather was too chilly to dip in the pool but it was a very nice spot to sit down and just read away. The owners are very helpful and accommodating.

The complimentary breakfast was fair. The lady in charge of the breakfast room worked hard and kept things clean and in order. When we requested toilet paper, staff brought some quickly to our room. The location was good - right off the highway.

Comfortable bed. Appreciated the choice of pillow size. Breakfast was good—decent variety.
The view of the St Lawrence was great from the back of the motel outside our room. The room & motel is outdated. I wouldn't be surprised to see a big hotel chain purchase, tear down & build something modern as the river view is a plus for tourists. The owners were friendly & doing their best.
The view of the river made up for the basic lodging. Very basic accommodations, but rooms were clean and staff was very friendly. It did the job for a one night stay, we had 3 rooms and were in town for my son’s SUNY college graduation but all NY hotels were booked.
The owners were very nice and considerate. For example we arrived late and she had already turned on the air conditioning so our room was comfortable when we arrived. There was a lovely area behind the hotel too.
