Very small town located at the Needles – Fauquier ferry.
Very small town located at the Needles – Fauquier ferry. It was perfect for staging for our backcountry ski trip with Valkyr Adventures. Not a lot in the area in the winter. No restaurants for 40km so pack some food if you're staying over here.

We came to play golf.
We came to play golf. Only problem with Fauquier is that there are no stores or restaurants close by. Nearest ones are in Nakusp. Lovely looking beach area. Lots of hiking close by. So, if planning a stay bring your own food. Motel has a lovely picnic area with BBQ.

What I liked most is the fact we didn't have to travel back to Vernon that night. It was so nice to just cross the ferry and there it was. It was clean, looked nice, was cozy and the bed was so nice. It had wifi too...
