It was like staying at a relative's house. Very cozy and comfortable home like stay. Breakfast (French Toast) was yummy. Wi-Fi was superfast. Room was very clean and comfortable. Shared bathroom was super clean! Had my pizza and wine in the living room while chatting about Newfoundland and other things with Aggie!

The keys were in the mailbox when we arrived but Paulette was there the assist us. Paulette was awesome and extremely helpful. The location was great as it was close to everything. The view of the dock and ocean from the balcony was great. The kitchen had everything that we needed to prepare meals. Bathroom was clean. There was a sewing kit and flashlight for us to use if needed. On-site laundry was a bonus. Cute little room with parking in the front.
The bowl of treats on the table was a fabulous touch. There were packets of oatmeal, Welch’s and cookies.

The location was central but on a busy street with not much interest. The food was very good, simple (eggs were cooked to perfection) but could have been a bit more creative. We are foodies who were there for the Roots, Rants & Roars food festival so not a fair comment ; )

Elliston is a nice place which is mostly know for its puffin viewing site which should be on anybody’s visiting list. But beside that you can discover a lot of Newfoundland history within the community, root cellars included and meet the incredible friendly people, listen to their stories and take a tale home with you.
