All the small details were just wow. The kitchen, the jukebox, the bathtub. As a couple we fell in love.
Also, Melodie took notice of my partner's celiac and arranged gluten free products. Thank you Melodie for caring.

The place is really beautiful and quiet, with a small stream of water flowing by and view onto the Saint Laurent. Unfortunately we only stayed one night. The breakfast (homemade granola and waffles) was delicious.

The property is amazingly beautiful. Its charm speaks to you immediately upon entering the building.
The decor and staging makes you crave for more. We took a closer look at the art work on the walls and around each of the accessible rooms. It was truly an amazing adventure on its own.
The breakfast served was DELICIOUS and the service provided was excellent.
The only reason why I did not give this a perfect score was that the building was a little cold (need to keep boots on until you cuddle in bed) and that we had to call for service twice due to electrical power outage. The service crew however quickly fixed the issues.
The host is remarkably generous with his client services. I would definitely come back to this little intriguing place.

Staying at Sonia's place was definitely the highlight of our trip! We enjoyed our conversation with Sonia, and the town itself, and obviously her comfortable place. The apartment has everything you needed- well-equipped kitchen, comfortable beds (including the sofa bed), shower (water pressure is awesome), parking (easy, just right outside the house), backyard with her three chickens and cat (nice bonus). The town was super cute with nice a nice cafe, bakery, chocolate/ice cream shop, and a general store. You will also find many artist studios (we particularly enjoyed Patrick's pottery studio, and bought many pieces), local cheese and bee farms. If we ever come back to Quebec again, we will definitely come to this town and stay with Sonia!

What I like the most was the friendly reception, the exemplary cleanliness, the ample included parking, the very quiet surroundings. What I liked the least is that there is no coffee available; we have to get dressed and drive a mile to Tim Horton. We've never had a problem with the TV's wifi connection before, but this time it didn't work. But no matter, I will definitely be going again.

I love the price because we needed a comfortable clean bed and bathroom for just an overnight stop on our trip. It was a treat to watch a movie in bed. The proprietors are friendly. Ample parking is free. Quiet area, except from Thursday to Sunday the bar is open. Monday to Wednesday, quiet as you'd expect in the countryside. No restaurant service available early in the morning, but we were a 5 minute drive from Tim Hortons and other stores all by the highway side.

We ate at a nice place called La Ferme, with a patio on the St Lawrence. However, the food service was very slow, we were very troubled by flies, three of which fell into my husband’s glass of wine. We had to move indoors because of the flies. We moved ourselves, and no one came to add a place mat to the bare table, altho a waitress eventually brought water. When we explained why we had moved in, they admitted that flies are a problem outside. If we had known...
Highly recommended for bike travelers! The owners were super friendly and let us put our bikes in their garage, and the room was clean and cozy. The hotel is located right by the road and there’s a restaurant downstairs but our room was peaceful and quiet. Great value for money!
