I loved the fire pit, the Jacuzzi, and the expansive backyard. I was travelling with a special-needs companion, and they enjoyed the quiet, the nature, and the ease of getting around. The property is well-maintained, and the river behind it is gorgeous.

Felt very fresh and clean. As a mom travelling alone with 2 kids under 4 I really appreciate a room that feels secure. They had internal locks on the doors and windows (even for if you wanted the window open). The bed was very comfy. I enjoyed the coffee and tea options. The location was perfect right in front of the lake. The staff was extremely friendly/ welcoming and was able to help me when I accidentally booked a room that wasn’t well suited for my needs.

Black Forest restaurant was great: excellent food, servers willing to talk and answer questions and even crack a joke or two.
