The breakfast is phenomenal! Delicious true Brazilian cuisine. The pool is small but the water had a refreshing and good temperature. The kids had a lot of fun on the slide. It wasn’t too steep. The rooms are small and not updated. The TV didn’t have good reception. Also we had to ask for more towels, it was not well stocked.

BAD MANAGEMENT:
-I waited for service at the pool for an hour. I went to front desk to complain, they said someone would be there in a bit, still took another half hour to have pool service.
- I order one type of drink but it came another.
-Out of the 4 machines at the fitness center(which had only 2 treadmils, 1 eliptical and 1 bike) only 1 was working. - Room keys had to be changed daily at front desk because the magnetic strips loose the power by the end of the day.
-Hot water in the shower would go on/of making water either really cold or really hot.
-No shower cap in the bathroom, when we asked for one at 9pm they told us to go downstairs to get it instead of bringing it to the room
-There is a charge of R$5 for each silverware if you need one to eat at the room 😳
**The pleasant points at the hotel were: pool, breakfast and lady who served us at breakfast(Cassia), she was friendly and attentive to customers needs.

Gardens, great restaurants, shopping malls and one of the best swimming pool clubs in Sao Paulo state, but is a city geared towards business more than leisure travelers. Worth knowing it.

Sorocaba is not a city of sights - there is little to see.
Sorocaba is not a city of sights - there is little to see. There is a tourist information centre at the old railway station, who were very friendly. There were also some friendly "growler" bars. However, the parks we saw were very suburban - some very small and some without trees - so not worth travelling far to see them.

Sorocaba is a nice place with just enough of everything.
Sorocaba is a nice place with just enough of everything. The people are the sweetest and good places to eat or to go out too. I went out to Samba, Funk and some nice bars. Not so big and saftey wise pretty okay!
