The staff was very co operative and nice .
I forgot to take kindle with me while i checked out , they gracefully have sent it to my collegues place for me to take it from there. :) Facilities are good , its very near to the beach ( an awsome beach!) .

It is a very quiet place.
It is a very quiet place. During the week days there is nothing to do but going to restaurants. There are many of stray dogs and cats, they are homeless and have no food. Some of them were very sick and injured. Nobody cares. The food is very poor and there isn't many choices.

I planned to visit the Lençóis Maranhenses National Park at the middle of the traditional São João Festival, so the city had an amazing atmosphere and there were cultural events all over the old town.
I definitely recommend to visit the Museu do Raggae, Museu da Gastronomia e Casa Museu Tambor de Crioula.
Where to eat? Cafofinho da Tia Dica is a must.

Old historic centre was easy to walk around and the buildings are fabulous. The Palace do Leose - state government official premises has free tours of selected rooms. Beautiful and worth a visit. There was a fiesta on while we were there so much fun, dancing street food etc. Live music options great. Museums good.

I like the city very much.
I like the city very much. The hot and windy climate by the sea is very pleasant. The old town looks and feels great. Food usually is spicy and may give you heartburn if you indulge too much. People are warm and welcoming. What I don't personally like that the beaches are almost all improper for swimming due to water polution. Also the lack of touristic infrastructure and the poor quality of information available mean you need to ask a lot to get around and people generally don't speak English.

I spent the day here before heading to Lençois Maranhenses. The old town is definitely worth a visit. It is small and only requires 3 to 5 hours. Late afternoon is the best time to visit in terms of lighting (for the best photographs). Also, that is when the the churches open.
Large room. Rather quiet location. Good soundproof. Nice view to the lagoon.
Well equipped and very clean. Everything in good condition.

Bathroom a bit cramped but good shower, quality towels etc.

Everything is exceptional in a fantastic city. I have traveled all over the world for 40 years or so. This hotel is wonderful. First rate pousada. I believe it is a converted mansion or significant property. Ambience, surroundings, everything are without words to describe adequately. I could easily live here.
The house is authentic; it looks great from the first glance. We could use the kitchen and the living room, there’s a pool. Very charming vibe. Also, the host who met us was friendly and very welcoming.
The location is good - very central in the historic center of Sao Luis, which was convenient.
I liked the cleanliness, bathrooms and rooms are kept clean. I also enjoyed the breakfast; Freshly made as ordered. I also liked the location; within the Historic Center of São Luís. Lucas, who runs the place, is nice and friendly. I recommend this place

Stayed 1 night before flying, location good for a night close to supermarket and food options. Can’t comment how good it is though for proximity to activities in Sao Luis but close to the airport.
Excellent hotel near the airport. Great price for a great room, very clean, very nice facilities, kind and helpful reception staff. It was perfect for a few hours stay as our flight was delayed.
