Just a few steps from Ilha do Mel and a 16-minute walk from Gruta das Encantadas, Chalé lawill ilha do mel features accommodations in Paranaguá with barbecue facilities.
The city is ugly, it feels like it is abandoned. The aquarium, that is the biggest in the south of Brazil is not under good administration, the place where the turtles live was very dirty. The historic buildings look like they are falling apart. I would not recommend at all. If you are near, and you want to go to the beach, go to Pontal do Parana, which is very close. If you prefer a historic city, go to Morretes.
