A lively, bustling area with plenty to go for eating and shopping. It is less urban than Salvador but still very densely populated and active with everything you need close by. I felt safe, especially during the day. I didn't go out at night as much, so I can't comment on that. But it was beautiful and not too far from beaches or other attractions by car or ride share.

We finally got to the beach that is nice but extra trash laying around very smelly and unhealthy..... several people tried to bump me while shopping to try to get into my fanny pack. We are still in town but I do not ever feel safe here.

There are con artists running the hotel we stayed in...
There are con artists running the hotel we stayed in including violence by staff, localbusinesses willgreatly increase prices when they realize you are what they consider a rich american. I hate this hotel and the low class behavior of management and staff.

The rooms are small apartments (1 bedroom, one kitchen/living room, one bathroom, another room), if you are on the frist floor there is also a balcony.
Familiar kind enviroment. Security sensation due to the owner and neigbors, we are over 50 so, we awake with the birds without problem. Good beach is near by, also, even without car, Uber app works very well and it is cheap. we can go to many very good restorants, beach, walk in the beach - a pleasant moments
This hotel has a great location for whom is looking to explore different regions like Praia do Forte, and Guarajuba, and still want to enjoy the night in Salvador. The breakfast is very complete, with a lot of options, and the staff is very friendly and always open to help.
The property is secure and gives the illusion that you're in a secluded tropical get-a-way. Some of the rooms had hammocks or tables, or a nice view of the property.
The hotel is not far from the airport which makes the location ideal for the last night or two of a trip
The very sympathetic and helpful owner Gilberto. He picked me up and dropped me off from/to the airport and took me to the metro stop so I could visit the historic city.
The pousada is located in a quit neighbourhood, close to the beach. It feels safe to stay there.
New hotel, good breakfast, nice people. Main advantage is the location if you want to be next to the airport. Otherwise the location is not interesting but you can use it as an inexpensive base to visit Salvador and around if you have a car
I was very pleased that I chose to stay at this address which is very close to the beach and the grocery stores and restaurants. If you like to cook and eat outdoors in a beautiful garden then this is the place you will enjoy.
The Hotel has everything you need if you are waiting for a flight the next day. Clean comfortable rooms. Lovely garden and pool. Restaurant. It was a very good experience staying here while waiting for our flight.

The hotel serves a delicious breakfast and dinner. It also help that it is very well located. There are many restaurants around and other shops. You can also walk to the beach from here.
I lost my luggage and she was so helpful. I would recommend this hotel to everyone who has a early or late flight or wants to stay close to the airport and still feel homy. Obrigada!!
