Casa Fufi is an excellent choice for your stay in Jericoacoara.
I have come regularly to Jeri over the years and have stayed at more than 10 properties. Casa Fusi is highly recommended and presents a great value as well.
The location is exceptional, 50 meters the village beach and 100m from the Malhada Beach. It us tucked at the quiet end of Jeri but you are still steps away from all the life of the center.
The property is quaint with 5 rooms but the garden is beautifully appointed, the rooms are large per Jeri standard and very comfortable, with a large fridge and kitchen if you wish... without anything fancy. Cleanliness in impeccable and you even have a great terrace and a hammock for each room. Manuela and her staff are extremely kind and helpful. This is the hospitality we like in Brazil and what makes Jeri so special. I confirm the note of other reviewers: breakfast if excellent and generous. AC works well and is quiet, Internet fast and reliable. What else to ask for?
The Hotel Villa Terra Viva is located a few yards from the ocean on Jericoacoara Beach, inviting guests to rest in rooms with natural light and balconies facing the pool or the ocean.

It is a nice place for surfing and partying.
However it is in most aspects very expensive (there are many similar places around that are cheaper).
Even the city itself charges for everything (parking, tourist tax), I would not have been surprised to have to pay to use the loo. In general I had the feeling there is a gold rush attitude but the service provided in return is insufficient. (Bad value for money).
However this is not true for all places, there were some pretty nice restaurants.
Probably not the best place for relaxed beach vacation.

The best was the climate, the water, it was so safe to walk around, a real relaxed beach town where everyone was having a good time. Great that it’s a non vehicle town, lack of traffic a big bonus. The longer we stayed the more relaxed we were. We loved it.

It was my second trip to Jeri and I would love to return.
It was my second trip to Jeri and I would love to return. The atmosphere is very low key, lots of food options, little shops to visit and the beach is glorious.
You can choose to just relax at the beach or take one of the many tours available.
Only issue is the lack of banks/ATMs, so you need to bring cash if you prefer to pay this way but many of the restaurants/vendors take credit cards. If you are traveling from outside Brazil, you will not be able to use your debit card even though it has a visa/Mastercard logo.

The village is very safe and the people is very nice !!
Bonus tip : take only light weight clothes , like beach wear and only sandals like HAVAIANAS !! Don’t forget sunblock and hats with strings ! Also there is no mosquitos in Jeri !!

The town if very charming and cozy.
The town if very charming and cozy. Plenty of good restaurants, bars, shops, small markets. Some restaurants can be a bit expensive, averaging the price of big cities like São Paulo.
Great offers of activities and short trips to surrounding areas.

Jericoacoara is so overrated... it is a victim of its own...
Jericoacoara is so overrated... it is a victim of its own success. Basically, it suffers from mass-tourism. Natives basically moved out and left their village to whoever wanted to make money from European and wealthy Brazilian tourists. One pousada next to the other, intertwined with restaurants, bars and nightclubs. Its narrow sandy streets are cloaked with buggies, pick-ups and quads. In the evening, it is a cacophony of loud music, be it live or blasting from speakers in the many bars and restaurants which attract a noisy crowd until very late. The National Park experience is very disappointing, because everyday there are about a thousand buggies, pick-ups and quads running up and down the sand dunes, many blasting loud music. The tours are planned around private "attractions" with entrance fees and expensive service.
Claudia and Felix went above and beyond to make our stay amazing. The decoration of the room has a lot of personality and the restaurant served the best food in Jericoacoara. I still miss the breakfast they served for free. The room has everything you need, a comfortable bed, a nice and clean bathroom with walking shower. The location itself is near the center of the town and just a few steps from the ocean. Make sure you eat there for dinner, they have the best live music, great staff and delicious food. I recommend the Moqueca.
The property is in a great location 8 to 10 min walk to the principal road. The breakfast is served in/by the room, which is cozy and very private. There’s a table and chairs just outside each room so you can enjoy the breakfast with your crowd while close to nature. The hotel is also super green, with lots of trees, plants and bird flying around. Finally, The staff is super attentive and nice.
In the morning, an amazing brazilian breakfast is served in the room. The pool area is fantastic. The hotel staff is very helpful and kind.
To the left of the hotel, across the street, there is a great small convenient store.
The hotel also found for us an amazing guide (Mauro) with buggy for three days to get to know the area that we strongly reccomend.
One of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. Quiet, private, friendly staff, breakfast a la carte without waste and the usual rush of breakfast buffets. Very comfortable and well-decorated room. The pool is very nice as well, made of concrete. The hotel looks exactly like the pictures.
Beautiful place to spend some days and get the real Jericoacoara experience. The host was very friendly and helpful, including she helped us book transfers, tours and other experiences. The rooms have a small kitchen which turned out to be very useful.
The breakfast was good. They offer almost the same options everyday but it's still good. The hostel is located at the main street of the beach village. It's only a 5 minute walk from the central square. I would definitely recommend it to my friends.
Great place to stay. Just have to keep in mind that it is at the beginning of Jericoacoara, so it is a long walk to the beach. We knew that so it wasn’t a problem for us. The apartment is very nice, and clean - a lovely place to relax.
Very good location, quiet at night, good air conditioning, close to restaurants and other facilities.
Visiting Jericoacoara you don't need anything more than flip-flops and casual clothes, exotic drinks, very cheap costs, a paradise!
Very close to everything but also secluded at the same time. The hotel is beautiful and the staff are incredibly friendly. Also super easy to book day passages and other tourist activities.
This is an amazing hotel, feels very private and exclusive. The service is great and all facilities are done with great care and superb attention to detail. Will definitely be coming back.
Beautiful house, very friendly hosts, nice home environment, delicious breakfast in a cafe nearby, good location close to the beach and Jericoacoara center
