I honestly can not say enough about the hosts, Alba and Joaquin, they were both absolutely delightful. They paid close attention to my needs and they were helpful in so many ways. They are very committed to their posada and it shows.
The property is new, wonderfully designed and spacious. The grounds are lush, well maintained and even though I did not swim in the pool, it was nice to look at, especially in the evening.
The bungalow itself is charming and comfortable. It is constructed completely from hardwood and equipped with all the modern amenities you would hope for. Each bungalow is spaced nicely away from the others so you have a nice sense of privacy.
I’m a kiteboarder so location for me was very good, on the western side of the lagoon where it is wide and deep. I believe the walk from the posada to the lagoon was only 4-5 minutes and walking to Hura Beach Club was about 12-15 minutes by way of the beach.
My time at Wind Rose was both relaxing and enjoyable, I will stay again when visiting the area.

This spot is a hidden gem and fantastic value for money! Couldn't recommend higher. Absolutely amazing location right in front of the water at the start of ilha do farol where you can kite even during low tide. You can launch right from the hotel. The owners were really friendly and very helpful. The place itself is a unique design and fun, with lots of spots to hang out. It is 5 minutes from town so quiet in the evenings, but very close to everything. Couldn't have asked for a better stay.

ilha d guajiru is a good kite spot, lots of restaurants to visit and plenty of ocean if you walk over the sand bank to avoid many kiters in the lagoon! 7beaufort does great pizza saturdays and (maybe) tuesday/thursday. barroca de kite has a great vibe and the manager alejandro has casa de bruxa as well which has a brand new beach bungalow. good spot, sunny and windy every day if you're a kiter

Itarema is a small village with nice people.
Itarema is a small village with nice people. The beach is excellent to learn kitesurf since you kite mainly on a canal. Good place to come if you want to kite and relax. Nice ambience with a lot of Europeans and South Americans.
