The hotel was really nice from the time that you walked in off the street. The staff was very nice and friendly the whole time I was there. It was a great experience. The room was really nice, the breakfast was great. I would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful island with options to do loads.
The natural beaches like Praia da fome and Castelhanos are beautiful. We went for a small break but wish we have been there longer!
We have stayed in Vila Kebaya an amazing hotel super central but with a rainforest vibe very relaxing, comfortable and great staff.
One tip only - use repellent!

But borrachudos was the down side, they are very annoying. We all have many bites all over the body despite citroilha repelente.

Very nice island, the further you go from the center the nicer. I stayed close to the boat because I had no car, but there are buses that can take you a bit further so I would recommend staying further away from the center.
I didn't find many options to go to secluded beaches, only organized trip by travel agencies and not all were available probably because it was not summer season.

I came for the spectacular nature in this place and was not disappointed. The beaches and the rainforest are out of this world. The towns are lovely and real, and the bus service is a great way to get around: reliable and an adventure in itself.

40+ beaches, 300+ waterfalls, amazing rainforest, watersports, snorkeling/diving...
Eating out can be a bit pricey though (think fancy Sao Paulo restaurant price range). Also come ready to feast the local 'borrachudo' mosquito population. As soon as you get there buy Citronella bug repellant (made by the locals) and apply it generously.

Ilhabela is a Wonderful, relaxing place with many delicious restaurants for any meal, and packed with things to do and sights to see! This was our 2nd trip in a row there, and we just love the whole place!
We really liked our short stopover here! We would have stayed longer if we had had the time. This is a brand new hotel with pretty rooms equipped with comfortable bed, good aircon and good shower. Despite being located in the heart of the city around the corner from many restaurants/bars/shops, it was surprisingly quiet. As it’s partnered with Hostel da Vila, you can use their outdoor facilities as well (pool, bar, etc.), which we enjoyed a lot.

This hotel is just amazing! My husband and I were traveling to celebrate our first wedding anniversary and were surprised with a beautiful location! This hotel has a beautiful view of the ocean and amazing facilities. They offer breakfast, which is also great. The staff is very friendly and will help you to schedule tours and give you info to discover the island. We decided to stay one more night and they were very helpful. They also have a great gym, livingroom and game room.
The rooms are clean and spacious, and the pousada is located in a very lush area at the foot of the mountains, yet close to the beach. The staff is extremely friendly, helpful and attentive. The owner was always around asking how we were doing and if everything was okay - you rarely find this kind of service and attention is places as busy as Ilhabela!

Great place to stay in Ilhabela! The room has everything you need! When I say everything I mean it! Even a mini kitchen! So far was the best cust x benefit place I've stayed in my trip from all costa verde.
the location is great, very convenient and close to restaurants and mini market .
Also the room is very spacious despite being very simple and old.
And the seaside walk in front of the hotel is a must!
Nivea was an amazing host. She was very responsive and proactive during our stay. The hotel has a beautiful viewpoint from the pool and a very friendly neighbor cat. Overall a great place to stay
The breakfast was not great—the juices were nice but the bread was not great quality, and there were not a lot of options. I felt it was not as good as so many other hotels I have stayed in.
Everything manaca is a great place to stay, closed to everything you need in Ilhabela, facilities clean and comfortable. Vanessa and Franco were very nice and help a lot !
