We love all the staff; they are extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel is new, clean, and offers a great breakfast. We love the parking service and the staff's agility in getting the car whenever we need to leave. We also had our pet with us, and they provided him with a comfy bed.

But check out Pomerode nearby as it is a smaller place and- I unfortunately only traveled through by bus.

It's a charming city, easy to get around by foot if you stay nearby the XV de Novembro st. There are some museums, which cost R$5 to visit (some are for free) where you can spend half a day to see it all.
Blumenau is very prepared to receive tourists during Oktoberfest. There are chemical toilets and garbage cans everywhere so the streets keep its cleansing all the time. The event itself is pretty fun and there are people from everywhere during it.

Not for tourists except during Octoberfest. Hard to get around without a car. Restaurants closed during the afternoon. One day is long enough to see the historic district and the lovely museums. Suggest Pomerode is the preferred city to visit for a true taste of German culture and history .
Wonderful breakfast, lots to choose from. Fantastic selection of breads and cakes from the Cafehaus as well. Centrally located, with many bars and restaurants behind the hotel. Around a 30 min walk to Vila Germanica, or 5 min drive.
A lovely old world atmosphere and German decor upon entering the hotel. Good air conditioning in the rooms.
The host was very nice. She met me punctually and spoke excellent English. The location couldn't be better from Oktoberfest. Building was safe and secure. I had a parking spot for my rental car. All around a great place to stay.
We really enjoyed the one day at Blumenau. The owner welcomed us instantly and made his place to ours. It felt like home. He helped us with discovering the city and learning portugues. All in all we would recommend the place.

Very lovely and courteous host couple. Extremely clean and comfortable bathroom. The hosts had many ideas what to do or where to go, which made our trip to Blumenau unique.
I liked the hospitality, I liked that the hotel had gym and a big swimming pool. Also the people were really kind. The breakfast was inlcuded in my fee and it was amazing.
