The hotel needs to improve the cleaning rooms, the internet connection is terrible, the pool is like a jacuzzi, and the water have some substance that prevents the soap from blistering when we take a shower.

Tarrafas ( moqueca de siri) and Pitú (moqueca de pitú) Restaurants, a little pricey, but well served. Already knew Praia de Aruana so we went to tours to Praia do Saco and Croa do Goré/Ilha dos namorados, nice and quiet waters, buggy (not to the faint of heart/spine) and boat trips. Aracaju can be traversed by bus, if you know where to go exactly, using Moovit and the bus terminals, but it's such a tiny city that Uber is somewhat cheap. Sorveteria Castelo Branco is the best, better getting an ice cream cup than a cornet, the three scoop option seems bigger (a bit cheaper than the cornet and more ice cream), with local fruits flavors, like mangaba, sapoti, cupuaçu, jabuticaba...
Next time I'd like to get a tour to Xingó and Foz do São Francisco, we didn't go there because our travel was short, and go shopping again at Projeto Tamar.

Aracaju is a lovely city - not busy as the other brazilian capitals, it is more like a small town.
The urban beaches are not above the average and actually could be cleaner if the local population care a bit more about the environment
If you rent a car, is worthy to drive half hour to get to nicer beaches either sound or north.

We love Aracaju since the year we lived there.
We love Aracaju since the year we lived there. It's a unique city in Brazil with an absurdly large beach front called Atalaia. There you can find a lot of entertainment, so much that you do not even need to get to the beach, properly. You can also take your entire holidays in Atalia, only, which would be enough. Natives are not quite friendly, but we can live with. Aracaju is a planned city with huge spaces covered by vegetation and preserved swamps. The smell of the swamps may not be a pleasure for your nostrils when you do not know what it is, but that's nature preserved. Aracaju is unforgetable and good enough to make us returning whenever we can.
Great location (but everything is pretty close in this area of Aracaju). Great restaurants nearby. The staff were kind and helpful. Breakfast was good. Nice to have a kids pool - the water was chilly but the kids didn’t mind! Our toddler enjoyed the small espaço kids with trampoline and a few other toys. Protected parking area in the garage under the hotel.
Best location for work hotel in Sergipe. It’s next to a great mall with conveniences: exchange money until 10pm, good dinner places to meet clients, Uber comes fast. Safe location. Hotel reception and restaurant waiters handle English. Cleaning staff best in Aracaju.
