Staff was the best—extremely friendly and helpful with suggestions. Convenient location. Hotel itself was quite pretty and comfortable and quiet. Wine hour was also a plus.

The Beach, Chrystal Anderson was excellent, Dede, Danyella she is my favorite, Dale, Wayne, Gregory was the best service ever. Made me feel welcome. The two house keeper was excellent.

We were delightfully surprised by our last-minute accommodation at the Oxford House. We unexpectedly had to stay another night in Bermuda (oh darn, right?) and the staff could not have been more welcoming, and the bed extremely comfortable. We appreciated the cozy conditions and assistance from staff throughout.

This property, and more importantly the host- Ms Claudette, is phenomenal! The home( which looks just like the pic with the lighthouse behind it) is everything you could want to experience Bermuda’s magic. The front yard boasts chaises and a wonderful hammock to relax and watch out over the ocean views. The place is large with a huge bedroom with two extremely comfortable queen beds with fluffy pillows ( my husband wanted to bring some home!)! There’s a large living room area with ocean views, a comfortable kitchen and roomy bathroom. House also has hookup for electric vehicle. Location is divine, with a short walk to South Rd and only 2 short stops on the 7 line to Horseshoe Bay! Same bus route will get you to Hamilton in one direction and to Dockyard in the other direction. This property exudes peace and good vibes! We are already planning our return !!!
Now about Ms Claudette- she’s a grande dame of Bermuda! She is the consummate host— gave directions, tips and tricks on getting around, gave us bus tickets to get started, emailed us restaurant recommendations, etc. she was attentive to our wellbeing the entire length of our stay, showering us with her genuine kindness every day!
When you stay at her place ( and you should absolutely stay at her place!), make sure to read about her!
