We needed a place to stop after a long day of driving through Romania and crossing at the Ruse border. We booked this last-minute, hoping to find ourselves close to the Danube, some restaurants and a market to restock what we needed for another day of driving. It is a lovely hotel with very friendly staff, located just a short walk from the river.

Ruse is a very small town. The restaurants are quite good and the prices are very affordable. It also felt very safe to walk around. Would recommend walking around the city center and getting some icecream from local shops. Most people speak English or have menus in English and Romanian.

I was in Ruse for work. Therefore I had the advantage of friends who live in Ruse and who know where the good bars and restaurants are located.
Like most of Bulgaria, the first trip on your own could be a little bewildering. Try not to use chain hotels and restaurants - customer-service is not part of staff training!! Try to use family-run facilities.

Ruse is a very sweet town on the Danube River, with beautiful architecture. We only spent two nights there but enjoyed some very excellent meals and did a little shopping. We also drove out to the Basarbova monestary nearby.

Wonderful peaceful city on the Danube. The best gateway into Bulgaria. Often people are just passing through before or after crossing the Friendship Bridge by car or train, but it is definitely worth stopping a while.
I LOVED my stay at Arletti Hotel while I was in Ruse. That place was just incredible, beautiful, super clean, cozy and the staff was just AMAZING. Everything you think of they were able to provide with a smile! I will for sure stay there every time i visit Ruse again and I highly recommend it to everyone.

The view to the river is unique and astonishing. Hotel is so close to the river - nice view points, cafes, bars. Central part of Ruse is so amazing, full of cultural, historical and very beautiful buildings and again short distance to the hotel. This is in overall a great experience in beautiful Ruse (a must visit recommendation).
Very friendly and helpful owners, made for us delicious breakfasts. Rooms clean and airconditioned. Hotel (I'd call it motel) located next to Donau (you can swim, there is a small beach - 5min walk), 10min by car to the Ruse city centre (recommend to visit), 15min to nature park Rusensky Lom with caves and cave-monastries.
There is a 24 hour desk. The staff was very polite and helpful. The bed was very big. The size of the room was decent. There were nice toiletries. In general it is an ok hotel if you choose the cheapest room, because the more expensive is really not worth it.
The cleanliness is outstanding, it smells so nice in the hotel and room. The view towards garden is quite amazing, especially during the morning.
The ladies were very nice and welcoming.
Breakfast was very good and great coffee was served.

The location is perfect to see Ruse, near the center of the city. Also beautiful park in front of the hotel, and easy parking.
