Amazing and modern city. One of the two real cities in Bulgaria (Burgas and Plovdiv). Plovdiv is must to visit in your live, as much as Athens, but is much more beautifull and full with atractions, concerts and art activities, with nice places to go and amazing coffees and restaurants.

Plovdiv has so much to offer, great bars and restaurants and of course it is stepped in history for thousands of years. The town has a fantastic atmosphere and it’s it so easy to move around as such a small city, you can easily be having lunch in old town and then taking coffe in a fashionable shop. Having breakfast in an amphitheater was just amazing. The Roman history is stunning as is the more recent…. Makes Sofia look dull

Interesting to see the Old Town and new town of Plovdiv. Definitely need to make use of a walking tour to hear about the history etc especially the Ancient Stadium of Philipopolis which runs under the H & M store! We used Plovdiv Trips for two tours out of the City which was well worth it. Karmen and Stoyan were both excellent and knowledgeable guides. Plenty of good eating places and friendly

Plovdiv is a city of contrasts, spanning many centuries. You can't help but stumble across history wherever you go. The centre is largely pedestrianised, making it easy to walk around, with lots of bars, cafes and restaurants, as well as shops.
Highly recommend the the Free Plovdiv walking tour which starts every day at 11am from outside the town hall in the centre. Very informative and takes you to all the key locations, giving you a great starting point from which to explore further. Check out the Kapana area for food & drink and the Old Town.
The greatest hostel ever, it is much more of a Boutique Hotel. Crisp white linens, individual beds, private bathrooms, a beautiful outdoor kitchen, fresh squeezed lemonade, and superb location in old town. The staff is sweet and generous with advice, the breakfast is delicious, and the hostel itself is a gorgeous, old world mansion. My highest recommendation, I will definitely stay here every time I’m in Plovdiv.
Great location - only a short walk to the main square from where the walking tour leaves and a decent breakfast cafe. Comfortable room, especially the bed - best night's sleep we had during our four-city Bulgarian trip. Reception were really helpful, making great recommendations of where to go and where to eat in the city. We are a queer couple and felt comfortable here at the hotel and in Plovdiv in general.
Staff is extremely helpful. Free parking. Strong wi fi. Rooms are clean. Breakfast is good enough. House keeping is so good and helpful. Location is perfect. Not in the city centre but max. 10 BGN for a taxi ride to the old town. Every single staff can speak English. What to say, I guess it was my 10th visit to this lovely hotel and I don't think I will replace it. Special thanks to amazing team of the hotel.
The location is amazing between the trendy Kapana area and Old Town Plovdiv. The hotel is modern, well-taken care of, and immaculately clean. My apartment had an extra large bedroom/living area, a well-equipped kitchen (including a washer), and a large bathroom. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They spoke English very well, just in case, like me, your Bulgarian is non-existent.
The hotel and the room were very clean with a great location at a walking distance to old town of Plovdiv 10 min, the center, surrounding hills, International fair and all other places of interest. The staff was friendly and very helpful from the time of checking in. We were given tips on how to find everything including best food in the town. I will definetely come back to the hotel.
Hotel Ego provides a great place to stay when you are not exploring Plovdiv. The location is great (it takes you only 10-15 min by foot to get to the Kapana district). The staff is friendly and helpful and the breakfast is also nice, but it could use a bit more variety. An added bonus is the free parking lot with 7 or 8 car spaces, so parking shouldn't be a problem.
The property is super clean and tidy. It has everything I need for my stay in this second biggest city in Bulgaria. It is about 10 mins to the Plovdiv old town and about 10-15 mins walk to the Plovdiv train/bus station. It is also close to big supermarket LIDL. It is a quiet apartment and also safe. All the amenities described on the booking site is accurate.
Amazing location, right on one of the main squares and 10 min walk to Kopana and Old town. We were worried about the potential noise coming form the street, but the noise isolation is superb with great windows. The bed was very comfortable and the design of the hotel is quite interesting. It was a great stay. Hotel also helped with the parking.
the hotel is branded as 5 stars. we got a poor room close to the hotel. bathroom flouded, tv with a front to the wall not to the bed, furniture poor, breakfast like in a hostel. one big shame. never again. we were cheated by thinking that if we choose "modern room" it will be better then normal room.......

The location of the hotel was great. It is in the old town so you can walk everywhere. The room was enough for 4 person. The breakfast was adequate though not perfect. The owner was very friendly and helpful. Also you can park your car in font of the hotel without payment.
I can't remember last time I slept so well 😃 there's quite big water park also for guests to enjoy for a small fee. I certainly did not expect this level of quality for a ⭐rated place. Staff was super friendly (I don't speak Bulgarian)
