Maybe it was a 5 star 20 years ago, but nothing is 5* now. Hotel is rundown, badly taken care off, everything needs urgent repair and updating. Expect a rundown 3 star, there are so many better options in Bulgaria. What was ok:
1. Big room, big bathroom (bathtub and shower), big terrace with chairs. Clean.
2. Good food, half board was OK, but nowhere near a 4* (let alone 5*). First night was realy bad, but on the weekend it got better.
3. Very good a la carte restaurant.
4. Lots of facilities at the SPA, big medical center, good massages. Lots of people, but didn't feel too crowded.
5. Good wifi.
6. Free parking - hotel doesn't have many spots, but there are plenty on the street.

Good location for the purpose of our trip. Great breakfast. Hotel is located in residential neighborhood, so it was very quiet and pleasant.

The views from the balcony on the 9th floor was worth the downsides of the hotel’s condition. Plus No AC and small room! It was hard to sleep!
