Albena is a nice holiday village so that was nice. Rooms we’re comfortable and clean.
Food was ok and quite diverse but very limited in the fish and/or seafood section.

I didn’t like anything! It was absolutely awful! I believe that a big bulldozer needs to totally demolish it. Bulgaria is a beautiful country. The Black Sea coast is amazing! That hotel put an awful taste in my mouth! Needless to say the price - $130 for one night in that brothel! I used to work for a hotel management company for over 10 years in the US. As a professional - this is not an establishment where customers should ever be let in, unless you follow my advise about the bulldozer that I mentioned above and start over with a totally new building.

The location of the hotel is perfect, so are the rooms. Comfortable bed, nice bathroom and beautifully decorated hotel. There was a wide selection of food too.
P.S. The À la carte restaurant offered great food to enjoy both there and in your room.

I liked that you have everything right on the premises or very near. 7 min walk from the beach. The multitude of outdoor pools was great as it gave people with and without kids options. The pool for kids was the best Ive seen. The room was very spacious, and the single bed in addition to the queen one came quite in handy. It is a huge hotel so prepare to walk a bit to get to the elevators. The spa facilities were my absolute favorite, with the spa treatments getting a 5/5 from me.

Albena is expensive compared to othe beach resorts in Bulgaria, but we knew about this and came because it has probably one of the best beaches in Bulgaria.
Apart from the hotel, we had meals in the Kaliopa Restaurant and the Nomad Beach Club. Both were very good.

We were charmed by the tranquility of the city.
We were charmed by the tranquility of the city. Linden flowers were blooming, so the perfume was everywhere in the air. The gentle, kind, helpful locals make us feel absolutely safe, even late in the evening. The cleanliness of the city is admirable. Finding a place to eat something consistent (not the a la carte mumbo-jumbo) proved to be a real challenge, we had to drive to the nearby city of Baltchik one night just for that.

Regarding the resort, I was totally disappointed with the quality of services, which has decreased dramatically in the last 2 years. The beach is dirty, full of cigarette leftovers, plastic glasses thrown everywhere by the tourists and nobody collect this garbage all day long. The Balta reservation became pedestrian and was closed for any type of vehicle, including bicycles and became a real trash bin. I think the municipality does not have enough staff for cleaning and according to this, all the inconveniences that come along.

A lot has happened in Albena over the last 9 years since we last visited. The resort is very clean with a lot of opportunities of fun for children. Very quiet and family friendly in comparison to Golden Sands, for example.
The beaches are not very crowded, it is altogether the ideal place for a very relaxing and resting vacation.

This is a great place for young families, Some places in Bulgaria are overrun with mafia wannabe's , but not here, and there is so much for kids of all ages to do. I will be coming back here with my daughter for years to come.
Amazing location. The beach is only a couple of minutes walk, as well as the main resort street. Fantastic food (mostly Bulgarian cuisine).
. Staff friendly and polite even though you could tell they were very busy.
Very good with changing towels and bed sheets.
Animators team at the nearby hotel and in general the area was full of things to do for children.
We had an excellent stay. Can recommend this hotel to anyone.

The best thing about the hotel is that it's in Albena with its wonderful beach and history of the best sea resort on the Black Sea. Excellent breakfast (but u need to come early) and even the buffet lunch is worth being paid for if not included. Note there is a discount if you charge it to the room - for some reason the staff do not rush to tell you.
Good position nearby the small forest, so the air at the end of sunny July was breathable. Quiet place ( depending though on the position of the room). Air conditioning in the room was a plus.

Albena actually is quite outstanding place: a lot of green spots ( even small forests), large beaches, spectacular views, so clean and fresh!
Everything was perfect, well sized room, bath with tv, very good air conditioner, diversified food, pool accomodations for kids, free sunbeds..
Parking ticket is given at entrance in Albena and is paid at the hotel (or at the parking pay machines on the road), it costs 10 leva/day.
Staff is very friendly and they speak fluent english.
The location was very goo, directly on the beach. Sunbeds are available for guests on the beach from 3rd row. Food was good for a 3 star hotel, fish was made on the barbeque almost every day. Entertainment for kids near the pool. The beach was very nice and the sand was cleaned.
What I like most of the property is that it’s very close to the beach which is easier for us as we have a baby and everything is all inclusive from umbrellas, beds, foods, drinks etc. Very clean, staff are very friendly, always smiling and helpful. We’ll definitely comeback! 😊
Actually, it is one of the renovated hotels but already need refurbishment. It's super that the price include free entrance in Aquapark Aquamania. The transport to the beach is easy with the e-bus or on the escalators. The staff is great - everybody are polite and helpful.
Very nice hotel: spacious rooms properly equipped, tasty breakfast with a large variety of options. Indoor pool was a good option when the outdoor one was not heated by the sun rays. Two minutes away from the beach, central location next to all restaurants and main street.

Albena is one of the few remaining unspoiled traditional resorts: great beach, not overcrowded and free of noisy music... Lots of green space between hotels/no later chaotic construction in between... Great classic evening promenade...
It is a few meters away from the beach, we had nice view of the sea from the room, plenty of free sunbeds on the beach, good and varied breakfast and dinner, comfortable bed, quiet area at night, clean hotel, helpful staff.

Wonderful and spacious rooms, well furnished and decorated, very clean and well maintained hotel. Our favorite room had 2 toilets which was a surprise for us and very useful!! Well done
