The room was excellent, but we were extremely disappointed on arrival to learn that there were NO facilities for parking my car. In the end we unloaded suitcases on the pavement and then drove 1.5 km to the nearest parking place on outskirts of the town. This had further complications as we needed to leave early to drive to the Shuttle and I had to walk the same 1.5 kms with some of our lighter luggage to pick up my car and drive back to hotel to load suitcases while "parked" on the pavement. You should warn future guests of this distincr drawback. Had I known I would NOT have stayed in this otherwise good hotel.

A great seaside town, with easy access along the coast on the tram.
There are plenty of restaurants on the front over looking the beach and sea, you're spoilt for choice. Probably cheaper options away from the front.
Also easy access to Ypres/Leper for those who want the drive around the World War I battlefields, cemeteries, memorials and war museums.

Great town with many shops, restaurants, bars, and cafes.
Great town with many shops, restaurants, bars, and cafes. Saturday morning market was impressive. Coast line tram service runs up most of the Belgium coast (we had a day in Ostend). Sea front is clean tidy, beach is massive (beach huts available for hire). Train station is accessible by tram.

Although a small town, the centre is very full with shops, food stalls and restraurant. Fries, ice-cream and chocolate are all there. Although as :Belgium, I'd expect way more chocolate shops.
The beach is long and not crowded. It is fitted with cabins that can be rented.
There is an amusement park (and water park) which can make for a fun day out. You'd need to book it.
There are not halal food places around, and the closest thing is across the French border (~20KM).

There was a market in the centre that was lively and full of interesting things. De Panne is expensive and even moderate restaurants cost Euro 70/80 for two. THe beach is long and sandy so ideal for those with children.

Hidden gem.
Hidden gem. Miles of soft sand, with sheltered eating/drinking restaurants on the beach. Miles of promenade, easily accessed with the hire of a bicycle or cart. The town has remarkable architecture, reflecting th history of late 19th century grandeur right up to on going developments.
Everything was really good. The house felt really newly constructed. Everything was neat and clean. The location is also very good. It is really closer to the Plopsaland and Plopsaaqua. The host was also quite friendly.overall very satisfying experience.
The bed is extremely comfortable and the room was very clean and nice. Staff very friendly and helpful and spoke great English. Breakfast was lovely. Very near to Plopsaland (5 min drive) so convenient.
Nice friend welcome. Very clean hotel, great location, friendly staff.
