Easy drive from Port Jervis Ferry at 8:15p. The lodge is a quaint looking well kept place. Flowers in bloom, nature speaking to us. Just lovely.
Providing barbecue facilities, Second Valley Caravan Park provides accommodations in Second Valley. Both free Wifi and parking on-site are available at the resort village free of charge.

This site is perfect for the ferry and the animals are wonderful! It felt homey. There is only one bathroom but there is also a utility sink which we used as a second sink. It was fabulous fun! Be adventuresome and enjoy!
Featuring an 18-hole golf course, swimming pool, spa pool and sauna, Wirrina Resort Golf Course and Conference Center is spread over 1200 acres of stunning landscape on the Fleurieu Peninsula.

Greak hiking at the coservation park, with routes for a range of abilties. There are excellent views along the coast, out across to Kangaroo Island from even the basic hiking trails. You can also get quite close to the kangaroos in the park, which won't feed out of your hand (I don't think you're allowed to try that, by the way) but they are not scared of people either. We didn't go in whale migration season but Second Valley offers many vantage points to see whales if you go at the right time. It is also not far from Victor Harbour, which also has wildlife tours and great views for whales. Normanville is only 10 a minute drive away, whihc also has some good dining and lovely beaches for summer. If coming from Adelaide, on your way to or from Second Valley, you can easily pass through McLaren Vale for more great places to eat and, of course, terrific wine. The Woodhenge Shiraz from Wirra Wirra is a personal favourite every time I visit McLaren Vale.

I did not like much at all.
I did not like much at all. The walls are so thin I could hear others talking. The late comers were showering and make a lot of noise. The verandahs are wooden so pulling their bags along it was loud. I will not stay again.

I have always loved Second Valley as I used to live there. Lovely quiet spot with a nice little beach and small jetty for fishng and catching squid. not far from Cape Jervois and Normanville. A secluded little spot.

Property is managed off site so there was no staff at the reception. When the support staff was contacted it took more than 15 minutes for the proprioters to call and when they did the incorrect room was allocated. Made us feel like we inconvenienced them.
