I stay at White Albatross regularly and I cannot fault it. I do always stay in a waterfront cabin and they have a lovely outlook. They are very well appointed, unlike another park I stayed at recently which had spartan kitchemn utensils and a two hot plate stove top which would not work. I have learnt my lesson and will now always choose White Albatross!

The views from our two bedroom apartment at the front of the building are superb and the location right opposite the estuary is unmatched.
Marcel is within easy walking distance of our fave restaurant Matilda's and two great cafes, The Wharf and The Boatshed.
The apartments are always clean, well appointed and comfortable, with everything supplied for a self contained holiday.
Opened in February, 2017, Riverside Rest Nambucca Heads features views over the Nambucca River. Free breakfast, WiFi, Netflix, books, games and puzzles are available.

Very cozy atmosphere and hosts, feels brand new but not in a way that lacks soul. There are some small knickknacks/art pieces for sale downstairs which were interesting to look through and added charm.

I brought our own breakfast but everything I needed was available - milk, bowls, cutlery, etc. I particularly liked the way everything has been thought of and provided for - jigsaws, books, sensor lights, privacy, etc.

The river inlet area was a beautiful area of Nambucca.
The river inlet area was a beautiful area of Nambucca. There is a tavern a short walk from the property, as well as a café and RSL Club that has a nice restaurant with great views. The boardwalk and waterfront is a very popular area for tourists and locals. There is a Woolworths supermarket located a short drive from the property. Some very nice scenic lookouts around the area and a nice golf club.

Only stayed overnight and the weather was not favourable for exploring the town. Ate lunch at the RSL club but most of the club facilities were under renovation. Have visited Nambucca heads before and enjoyed our stay. Ideal place for young people and families.

The town had everything you needed.
The town had everything you needed. The RSL had nice meals and plenty of entertainment. The rocks was a nice place to visit with activities like fishing, walking, relaxing, BBQ's, Beautiful scenery. The town was quite hilly, not suited to walk around the town but driving was fine. Surrounding beaches were beautiful. Taylors arm was about 30 minutes from Nambucca Heads where the pub with no beer is. This was a great place to sit and enjoy the sun and a great lunch. The small church there was also a bit of history for the pub. The staff there were wonderful.
Nambucca Heads is a beautiful place where you could stay for a great holiday, highly recommended and the weather was wonderful too.

The beaches at Nambucca Heads are first class.
The beaches at Nambucca Heads are first class. And there are plenty of great restaurants.. I love Nambucca Heads for a family holiday in a place easily as beautiful as the Byron area.... with a tenth of the tourists. It is also close to the Dorrigo National park for amazing bush walks.
The view from our bedroom was amaaaazing. We even saw dolphins in the estuary!! The block is an old style which meant our apartment was extremely spacious compared to most hotels. The decor was basic and a little dated, but impeccably tidy and clean and to be honest we liked the retro vibes. Marcel Towers is in an excellent location if you want to walk along the water - and very close to the town too although it's uphill in that direction. Highly recommend and we'll likely stay here again if we come back!
The rooms are recently refurbished, very new looking and clean and comfortable. The hotel is an old style bed and breakfast with the communal dining room downstairs, and it was good to see a property like this still in use. The views are lovely and the location excellent. The owners of the hotel were super friendly and welcoming, I wish we could have stayed longer. I also appreciated the hotel's proximity (walking distance even on a cold night) to some really good restaurants
Helena was very hospitable and welcoming. She called to see what time we were going to arrive and just before we checked out, we bumped into her and she was very helpful in providing what areas to visit in the surrounding areas of Nambucca Heads. Loved the place, loved the location and how quiet it was and loved the team at Jabiru Motel! Will definitely go back and stay there and would recommend it to anyone who wishes to find an accommodation in the area.
The setting on an arm of the Nambucca River was the wonderful feature of this place. It was very peaceful and the park is well named as we saw Pelicans during day and night. It was very quiet and peaceful. The cabins were well fitted out and we appreciated the generous upgrade to a slightly bigger cabin. The cabins were modern, clean and very comfortable for a couple. The jetty and seat by the river were also positive features.
Great location, close to the beach, you will need a car for getting around as the hills in Nambucca Heads are crazy. The house is very comfortable and everything we needed was there, it was extremely clean and beautifully presented. A lovely welcome hamper was included which was a nice touch. The food options in Nambucca Heads were very good - shout out to Matilda's - and the beaches were fabulous. We enjoyed our holiday!
This apartment was fabulous it came complete with its own rooftop spa, anything that you would need for your stay was provided. The location was great with shops, restaurants, clubs and waterfront just steps away.The host was very welcoming and communication was brilliant. I would definitely recommend anyone thinking of staying in Nambucca Heads to book this unit.
Really liked having a totally separate cabin from other guests. Cabins having multiple bedrooms, not just 1 big shared bedrooms was really nice, and the kitchen had everything we needed for a prolonged stay (even tho we only stayed 1 night). The park itself has lots to do for the kids including playgrounds, bouncing pillow, heated pool and even waterslides.

Being in the centre of town it was so close to everything we needed. Plenty of space for our family's short stay. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen had all the cooking facilities needed. Communication from the hosts about accessing the house was excellent. Property was really clean. Appreciated the secure parking for our vehicle.
We booked the Miramar as it was off the highway, easy to access to rejoin after our stay. The motel was in the centre of Nambucca Heads, so we could walk everywhere we needed. Adjacent to the RSL, was also a bonus for meals. Would book again.
I wish this was the norm for hotels, if only they duplicated this style all over Aus, as a sales rep I almost live in hotels and am very very fussy. I LOVE this hotel, I want to holiday in this place.
The location was great - close proximity to shops/cafes and the water.
The team were all very friendly and approachable and the overall look and feel of the hotel was beautiful.
