Just over the border from WA, shop open 24 hours for snacks and drinks. Has all amenities. Rooms are tiny but adequate. Allows pets which is amazing. Parking can be a problem with a trailer and there are a lot of vehicles with trailers…

As the only accommodation at the SA/WA border it offers all levels of accommodation. We chose a cabin, it offered all we needed, a double bedroom and a bunk room for 4 which was quite comfortable for a senior adult. Good bathroom and separate toilet. Tv was good. The kitchen set up was good but we chose to dine at the restaurant which was quite acceptable. Our major concern was our door could not be locked from tge outside which was an issue for us.

It's comfortable and has everything you need for a short stay. Prices are a little higher than you are used to but they service the facilities themselves with generators and truck everything in so YOU have what you need, so please consider the team at BV when you look at pricing.
Dinner is busy so order early. Parking is available outside your door.

WiFi is not worth it you are constantly signing in and after 6 hrs is invalid so you will pay $4 for 1GB.... went to upgarde rm (happy to pay the difference) due to being small she told us to put the matress on the floor and sleep on the base before proceeding with an upgrade.
Went to order off the menu that was in the room only to be questioned about it and then told the menu shouldnt be in there. Absolutely no apology just blamed the other worker and walked off left us standing there.
Donot deal with the female senior lady, she will ruin the rest of the stay.

Only kettle tea and coffee available in unit and no facilities for self catering ,no tea towel or wash up equipment to wash up ,no seating or table in unit. Outside maintenance in poor condition

Very basic room. Very small fridge. One channel tv.
Very basic room. Very small fridge. One channel tv. Taps need new washers cos of leaks.
Room generally was clean and tidy. Pity about dirty aircon filter. Important aspect regarding airborne diseases. A common oversight!!
Plumbing pipes under sink also produced a pungent/rank odour when initially used.
