Hotel Berghof is a great place for families with children - there is a big playground outside (with animals) and a playroom inside, and in the evening a special program awaits the youngest travellers.
The staff is amazing and we felt welcomed in every way.
Our room was nicely decorated, fresh and clean. Spacious balcony was available for sunbathing.
Just around the corner start hiking routes. In 5 km there is ~6,5 km walking route around Hintersteiner See. It's better not to take a stroller there due to stairs but the path itself is not hard.
The "Goldener Löwe" (“Golden Lion”) is located in the center of Kufstein, directly opposite the fortress, the symbol of the town, and only a few minutes’ walk from the train station.

The hotel is very close to the train station and also a five minute walk to the historic Kufstein Castle. We had a very nice dinner also.

Great price for the area. Huge rooms and big balcony. Clean and spacious with a nice view of the castle, the mountains and the town. The staff was helpful and kind. Great food at the restaurant (huge servings). Good and plentiful breakfast. The whole place is super authentic with beautiful Austrian rugs and wood and plants all over. Really pretty. Free parking.
