St. Kanzian is small village with a beautiful surroundings. It is a place for biking or hiking by the Corinthia Lakes (Klopeiner See, Kleinsee, Turnersee, etc. Near this place is situated beautiful park, its called Minimundus, other lakes (Wörthersee, Ossiachersee ...) and therme and SPA in Villach.
Free hotel beach spot with free of charge changing rooms, toilets, chairs, umbrellas and paddle boards. Plus there was a bar with some food and drinks at the beach as well.
The door to the bathroom were actual wooden door, providing more privacy.
Big balcony with drier - helped with drying swim suits.
Good location, next to the town (super market, restaurants) and 15 minutes from Klopeinersee lake.
Dinner in hotel's restaurant was good and maybe a bit too luxurious looking.

We arrived in the hotel a few days before end of the season. There were only a few guests in the hotel, we nearly had the whole spa and saunas for ourselves! The staff was really nice, we never had the feeling of being "the unwanted last guests right before season ending".
The new sauna and spa area is spacious, very clean. Our highlight was the lake sauna with a great view on the Klopeiner See.
The rooms were tidy with modern bathrooms.
Breakfast was plentyful.
You need to cross the road to access the private small beach owned by hotel. We did not use this beach with our small kids, but for bigger ones it is perfect, the lake has crystal clear water perfect for swimming. The hotel lends also paddle boards. It is possible to order some bread, ham, etc for breakfast, but you need to do it until 16h30. The hotel is family owned and has nice garden with playground for kids, our kids loved it.
Hotel Tulpe is in a great location to the lake and offers very good value for money. The host is super friendly and helpful. The hotel offers free coffee and some drinks are provided in the lounge area. No breakfast is served but the restaurant/hotel across the road offers a buffet breakfast. Our e-bicycles were stored in a safe garage.
the owners greeted us on arrival, showed us the very nice rooms with personal touches. They also showed us the fridge, stocked with beer, wine and soft drinks and an honesty pad to write the items taken. Great host, lovely hotel. The breakfast was superb, good coffee, fresh fruit, rolls, boiled eggs, yoghurts etc. Wonderful!
The room clean and comfy bed. Luft cool without clima but nice sleep and it was up to 30 ⁰C. Breakfast and dinner excellent, lot of different food and dinner ( sup, dinner,salat and dezert). Near city center but quiet place, 10 minut to privet beach. Very friendly hotel with dog, 1 minut to walk to other Lake,nice with dog
The beach was available with hotel's card and it is 1 minute far from the hotel, really comfortable.
Parking area is big enough.
The breakfast was delicious and had wide selection with continuous refilled.
The location was great, very centrally located. You have access to the dock at the sister hotel. The breakfast buffet (although too expensive) was pretty good. Very clean.
The owner of the hotels Štefan :) was super nice. So was his wife, mother and the staff. The location in stacionated away from the main road so the nights are very quiet.
