Hosts are very friendly and helpful. My wife had a ski accident and could not climb up the stairs. The hosts move us to a different apartment on the ground floor which help a great deal.
Every apartments has its own washing machine which is a big plus when you stay for more than a few days. Both apartments we stayed are closed to town center, grocery stores, and restaurant. Ski lift is also within walking distance.
Located right next to the Loferer Alm cable car, the Forellenstube offers rooms and apartments with balcony and mountain views. In summer private fishing areas are available.
Surrounded by a beautiful Alpine panorama, Haus Patricia enjoys a central, south-facing location only a short walk away from the center of Lofer. Free WiFi is available in all areas.

Lofer is a beautiful small town with a lot to offer surrounded by big mountains. There is everything you need, great public transportation and kind people. We visited multiple glens and took a cable car for a trip above Lofer. Unfortunately we had bad weather for the whole stay, so we didn't try the outdoor pool, but i'm sure it's also very lovely.

Fully furnished ground floor apartment in a beautiful family house. Each room has its own bathroom and toilet. From the terrace in front of the apartment there is a view of the surrounding mountains. The owners are very helpful and friendly. The ski lift in Lofer is accessible on foot (about 800 m). There is also a Spar nearby. Highly recommended for a family skiing or hiking trip.

Beautiful Austrian market town just 40 mins from Salzburg. Whilst it's a small ski resort, it's perfect for a long weekend away. The town itself is very picturesque with lots of great options for eating and drinking.

Lofer is an excellent ski resort for families.
Lofer is an excellent ski resort for families. The ski area itself is ideal for beginners and intermediate skiers, and they have one of the best setups for children I have seen anywhere. The Ski Schule Sturm is the best I have used and the Trainers and Staff were all excellent. The mountain restaurants are reasonably priced all over. Lofer is fairly small, so everything is easily accessible by foot and quite a safe place to stay. If you want to take your children skiing and feel safe with them, then you cannot get much better than Lofer.

Beautiful & Traditional Austrian Village that along with good intermediate level skiing includes lovely walks, quality restaurants and relaxing aprei ski that all combine for a relaxing and very enjoyable holiday resort. Visit Zum Schweizer, Neuwirt , Ketch Alm, Schonblick and Gasthaus Krepper for quality food while Kramerei, Karussell in the village and Kubbar in the mountain provide friendly and entertaining bars in a chilled out atmosphere.
The host was very nice and super accommodating to all of our requests! The room was on the ground floor and had a lot of space. We were also invited to use the balcony and it had a great view that goes amazingly with a glass of Austrian Red wine. Thanks for the gift as well - the stay was very pleasant and I wish to come back sometime soon! The location was also a perfect spot to start a mountain hike.

An authentic Austrian Pension with character and old school charm. The furniture was classic Austrian, the bed was large and comfortable. The little balcony overlooking the town center was an ideal place to relax in the evening. The bathroom was spacious and spotless. The breakfast was sumptuous and good. Villa Egger was clean, comfortable, centrally located and was very charming. The staff and the owner were helpful and courteous. I will definitely return to Villa Egger.
Our group has visited this hotel 4 or 5 times over the years, and we always come back as it's such a lovely stay! Breakfast was lovely - good selection of continental options along with eggs and bacon. Evening meal also lovely, very attentive staff and happy for us to take our table early to have pre-dinner drinks and cards. Rooms were of a good size and all had balconies with lovely views. Great proximity to runs, only 100 yards or so from gondola.
The Hotel offered a lot of facilities, was clean, modern, well maintained, friendly and in particular family friendly. Breakfast was very good and the half board was also acceptable. Even though, the restaurant could be very busy, the staff did a good job of supporting their customers in a timely manner and were always polite despite being very stressed at times. The kegelbahn was very nice and exciting to use. A E-Auto charger was available.
Well decorated old style mountain hotel in the town of Lofer, conveniently nearby excellent hiking and some spectacular sights in the valley. Good breakfast offer and nice diner location with an outside terras under the trees. The free acces to the swimming pool conveniently located next to the hotel is a plus! We had a room with balcony at the second floor with a spectacular view on the mountain area.
Truly a wonderful place!! Exceptional apartment with stunning view! Dennis is great and very helpful! The apartment worked well for family of four. Well equipped for our needs. Close to town and walking distance to restaurants. The wellness center at the hotel is a lovely bonus! Do not hesitate to book here! We fell in love with Lofer and will happily come back and stay here again!
Great breakfast, the room was clean and tidy. The house is full of paintings and some historical pieces of art, very interesting. We used this hotel as an overnight option from point a to point B, and it fully met our expectations. Friendly personnel and the owner personally dealt with us. There is a parking option available next to the hotel (free of charge). Great choice overall.
The hotel and rooms are old but very cozy. You can sense the history that the building carries. The location in Lofer is absolutely gorgeous. There are good restaurants nearby, and the hotel-owners were very friendly. The breakfast was good.
While the hotel is next to a frequently used provincial road, the noise caused by the vehicles does not carry into the building.
We really liked the time we spent here, the guesthouse has an authentic style, clean, well equipped and located in a superb area, near the river and close to the Lofer city center. The host, Mr. Gunther, is a very pleasant, helpful person who gave us the best advice to have a pleasant stay. We will definitely come back...
The house is in a quiet place of Lofer, but still 10 minutes walk from the city center. The apartments are big, clean, and mostly renovated. There is a nice garden behind the house, where you can grill and chill, while the kids are playing. There are free bicycles to use! The owner was also very nice and helpful.
I've got the Lofer card with a bonus access to many sights, including a free cable car to Lofer Alm area. The pension is in the center of Lofer. The alm area is very beautiful. Lofer is also a good starting point for Berchtesgaden, Kitzbuhel and Zell am See.
Amazing atmosphere, very nice hotel, like one from a fairy tale. We greatly enjoyed our stay, our hosts were very kind and friendly (and spoken good English), the area looks amazing, the breakfast was plenty.
