My husband, and another couple traveling with us, booked 2 rooms here primarily because of the view of the castle. Little did we know what an awesome hotel this would be! From the moment we walked in and met the owner, Caspar, until we left, we felt like family or valued guests. Rooms were comfortable and clean with the amazing castle views, and breakfast was exceptional! Parking is free onsite, which is a rarity in Europe. While there isn't a restaurant onsite, we ate in Werfen just down the mountain 5 minutes away, and came back to the nice mountainside patio area where we had drinks. Caspar makes this hotel very comfortable and enjoyable for his guests and we can't wait to go back!

It was located in a lovely small town nestled in a valley facing fantastic views of the huge mountains. Excellent staff, a decent room. A very delicious breakfast with lots of fresh fruit, not canned.

The WC is separate, with an entrance from the kitchen and dinjng area. No sink in the WC. The shower cabin and the sink with big mirror are placed into the bedroom, a little strange, but perfectly working. It was verry clean. A lot of new towels. This is a 60 year old house and the steps between second and third floor are a little bit steep. Verry nice cosy patio in front of the house, table, chairs, barbeque. Verry green. Nobody is living permenenly in the house and we were alone. Verry quiet area, exept for the little river. Some nice restaurants in the village. Verry interesting museum with 7 restored watermills and a castle on a hill nearby. Great predatory bird show. Great nature.
