It was a simply perfect stay. Room was beautiful with a view, and the lady at the hotel was super helpful and kind. Facilities are well equipped and breakfast was really nice, home-made style. It was the best bread and apricot cake I have ever tasted.

The village and the surroundings are beautiful, good food in the restaurants. We missed a cafe open in the morning :).
The church and its surroundings are incredibly beautiful and well-kept: no wonder it is the symbol of the village.

If you ever go to visit Heiligenblut, please drive the Grossgluckner Hochalpenstrasse and visit the Kaiser Franz Josefs Hohe. Park your car and go find some murmeltieren. I had the best day of my life with some carrots and the friendly murmeltieren.

We did the road to view Grossglockner, and it is highly recommended! On the way from Zell am See, Heiligenblut was at the end of this road so it was a great place to finish the day and stay.
The village is small, but very pittoresque with great views!

Our second visit to Heiligenblut, perfect location for a short stay crossing Austria. The village is small, quiet and friendly, the views and sense of relaxation fantastic. Sure you can stay at more convenient places along the busy highways crossing Austria, staying here after a 10 hour drive and you feel recharged to continue the next day.
Of course if you stay longer then Heiligenblut has many things to do nearby, a great location as base camp for family trips in the summer.

It is a good place to visit because everybody could find something nice to do. They have a lot of places for kids, you can go hiking, or just walk around. It is a bus to the platform under Grossglockner or you can go with your car to enjoy wondeful views and nature. Of course at the winter there are a lot of places to ski. Go there you would not be sorry.
It was the best stay in the hotel for me, the stuff was very kind and pleasant, we had a problems to make check in on time, and I asked if it is possible to make later, because we were lost, Mrs answered me very quickly that it’s ok ,and we were very happy because we though we will sleep in car😂
The breakfast was tasty and beautiful in a cozy atmosphere with fantastic view from the window. I should say it is the best place for hotel, the view here is amazing, I really can’t believe my eyes how beautiful it is here
The room was clean and (even though the furniture is a bit dated) very well maintained. A large balcony had a great view of surrounding peaks. The breakfast was versatile and delicious, and so was the dinner. Hotel wellness, though not very large, was clean and comfortable. The ski storage room was available to us, which was great. Overall, a great experience would definitely recommend!
The apartment was amazing, very cosy, comfortable, clean and homely. It had an amazing view from a terrace. It was very private and quiet. The kitchen was very well equipped. The owner is very kind and helpful. The area is very calm and relaxing. The town is very pretty. Very quiet, not busy at all. It doesn’t have big hotels which adds to its charm.
The owners were so hands-on, the result is a superbly run pension hotel. A bonus for us was that they have a full a la carte restaurant for lunch and dinner.
The views from the hotel are absolutely stunning, perhaps one of the best we have ever had. We were lucky to have a view facing window and balcony. We would absolutely love to stay there again.
Exceptionally roomy place - we had a full apartment for us with 3 rooms + kitchen. Fantastic location and views, relatively near to Heiligenblut ski resort. Just bear in mind it's a farm with cows, so sometimes you can hear them and smell them during the winter, when they are not out on pastures - but that's what we love on farms :).
It will never be easy to run this property while taking care of her kid/family by a woman but you can tell something when you notice the decoration made in this property. This property is nice and clean. Location is great (Heiligenblut may be one of the best locations to visit Großglockner area).
The breakfast was spectacular. Rupert supplied everything you could possibly want, including eggs laid only ten minutes ago.
The view was ideal--the village's 500-year old church on one side and Austria's highest peak on the other side. Nothing obstructed our view of either.
Very comfortable stay in centre of Heiligenblut. We had clean spacious room with balcony and beautiful view to the church and valley. Good basic breakfast. For our stay, it was perfect. Walking distance to the centre, to the supermarket and ski lift.
Huge apartment in a very nice hotel with all the needed amenities. Breakfast was excellent, with many different tasty choices.
Nice balcony with lots of light in the morning.
Very comfortable and large beds.
We had an unexpected stay in this hotel, after our rental car was damaged on the road and the company cannot get us a replacement car on time. The staff is really helpful on transportation and other advice!
One of the largest room of similar type hotels, clean, beautiful and comfortable. Location is unbeatable, so close to Heiligenblut and Grossglockner. The owners were very nice and helpful. Good breakfast.
I had a cute little room with a beautiful view above Heiligenblut, it was clean as long as the bathroom was. The owners were very kind, speaking English of curse. For sure I will come again!
This gasthaus was in an amazing location looking out over a beautiful valley in the heart of the Austrian Alps. Our hostess was so friendly, and helpful. The breakfast was delicious
