The location in the old city was as perfect as you could get for Salzburg; and pretty much everything else about the hotel matched this for quality. The staff were all helpful, friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Our room was large, comfortable and well appointed. The hotel building itself had the charm and character representative of Salzburg itself. We did not opt for the breakfast, but it looked great.
Set next to the Getreidegasse in the heart of Salzburg's Old Town, the historic, fully renovated Hotel Elefant dating from the 13th century offers free WiFi.

The location was excellent for walking around the old town.
Located at the foot of the Kapuzinerberg Mountain, the Dorint City-Hotel Salzburg is a 15-minute walk from the Old Town and the Main Train Station. Free Wi-Fi is available.

Convenient location, helpful staff, the only issue was the bathroom was not fully cleaned on arrival.

This is a lovely hotel with nicely sized rooms. The woman at the front desk when we checked in was very helpful and kind! I wish I'd gotten her name to share it here, she made a very good impression.
It's a walk to the main areas but we liked it, and we walked up to the fortress as well as all over town.
The hotel is very clean and we enjoyed free coffee in the garden. Very lovely stay and would definitely go back!
The atmosphere was very magical, there was only nature and fresh air around, I completely relaxed. I recommend the restaurant in the hotel, very tasty!
