We only stayed one night after finishing stage one (Oberstdorf – Holzgau) of our E5 hike. The room was spacious and had a balcony. We enjoyed dinner. We left before breakfast and the friendly staff arranged a lunch and organised a taxi to the materialseilbahn of the Memminger Hütte at 07:00.

Haus Kristall is a family business for years. The owner is very friendly and helpful, always happy to share info about the local atractions or simply to talk while preparing delicious breakfast, that consist of local goods.
The small city of Bach has everything that you would really need. Stores, restaurants, rentals and a lot things to do around (with the active card from the property, some come for free and some with a big discount).

My wife and I spent 10 days here for our skiing vacation and absolutely loved it! The owners were fantastic and catered to our every need. The appt. was spotless, we loved the sauna and the quiet location just above the village has an amazing view of the mountains.
