I visited with my daughters aged 5 and 9 in November. Despite being winter the stay was comfortable as we brought sleeping bags in addition to the provided bedding. The wood burner in the tent also took the edge off. The camp area is great with multiple fires and places to sit. It really feels magical and my girls loved it. The woods are lovely to walk round - we went spotting different types of mushrooms! If you are prepared for a bit of “back to nature” you will have a great time!

We had a lovely weekend. Our host Dawn was amazing. She showed us around even though we arrived almost 2 hours after check in closed. The location is very nice with lots of things to do for the whole family. Our favorite was the Quex Barn shop (but avoid having a coffee) :)

We had a stormy night but I can imagine the sunset is magnificent. Excellent overall fun, Loved the really comfy 4 poster bed and the electric blanket. The kids beds really are just for kids under 10 and were just camping pop up beds with bare sleeping bags. The tent is warm, cozy and fun. We had a blast playing board games and cards on the tent porch area after hours.
