Ibis Budget Salzburg Airport - Self-Check-In is located directly at the highway junction Airport Salzburg, only 1640 feet from the Designer Outlet Center and 3.1 mi from the center of Salzburg. Very close to the airport,( 17 minute walk)and food outlets, very powerful shower. Surprisingly good night sleep as it was very close to the main road. Worth staying at if you have a early flight.

Haus Kernstock is minutes away from the Hangar-7 with its famous Ikarus Restaurant and 1.9 mi from the Salzburg Airport. It’s a nice little place, very clean. We had 2 single rooms for my granddaughter and me. No breakfast, but didn’t expect it. It’s at the end of the street, turning the car around is a bit of work. We were looking for a simple inexpensive base for exploring Salzburg and the surrounding area, not a destination hotel with lots of services, it was just what we needed. Laundry service is available for 8 euro a load.

Elmi 22 is located in Wals, just a 19-minute walk from Klessheim Castle and 3.3 miles from Europark. Both free Wifi and private parking are accessible at the apartment free of charge. A modern home away from home. Everything you need in an apartment. We stayed for 4 nights, which was more than enough to explore Salzburg. Our daughter was most impresed by the remote control for the window shades, therefore she was the apartment sherif for light and shade. Our son was impresed by the PS4 (altough it didn't work), he used the controler to save the world :-). But we definitly apreciate Monopoly, because we all evolved into modern kapitalist.
